For suitably experienced and qualified sailors/groups, bareboat charter bookings can be taken for our beautiful, comfortable, MCA coded yachts. Our aim is to ensure that your sailing experience in Scotland is easy to arrange and a pleasure to enjoy - we can offer guidance on passage planning, good anchorages, top quality restaurants, excellent tourist destinations and advice on how to get the best out of your chosen yacht. All yachts are maintained to our professional standards; well equipped, fully cleaned and re-stocked between charters. Our highly competitive bareboat prices are based on our standard 5 night charter. Prices will vary depending on the size of yacht you charter and will include safety equipment (lifejackets/liferaft etc) and a tender with an outboard motor. Additional costs may include: - wet gear (we can provide this for you) - food/drink (we can organise whatever you might need, in advance) - fuel/gas - marina fees We require that all skippers are suitably qualified before they book a bareboat charter with us. Our guidance on qualifications is as follows: - 32-50 feet: RYA Coastal skipper (or equivalent) - 50 and above: RYA Yachtmaster/MCA Master Yacht (500/3000 gt) (or equivalent) We will ask all skippers to provide us with proof of qualifications prior to chartering. Safety is our prime concern and we will not charter our yachts if we are not fully satisfied of an individual's ability to take safe charge of his crew and our yacht. You will receive a full briefing when you arrive, which will include the location and operation of all safety equipment onboard and you will be provided with a comprehensive package of charts and navigational publications. We also provide a shore based support service to ensure that any problems you may have during your charter are dealt with quickly. Whether you have general questions, need to check availability or want to discuss a detailed itinerary for your sailing experience, we are more than happy to help.
